Yulia Abapolova lives and works in the village of Lotoshino near Moscow, Russia

Yulia's family has always been interested in art, actively attending art exhibitions, theater performances, and reading fiction and poetry. Julia decided on her profession at the age of 18, when she became part of a circle of professional artists. She was inspired by the idea of creating her own art. She always wanted to express her emotions and her perspective on the world through her paintings and graphics. She studied to become a textile artist and a graphic artist. However, her attempts to understand others through psychology at university did not provide her with the answers she sought.


The turning point and new stage in Yulia's life was her conversion to Christianity in 1999. For her, it became important to share her own and others' spiritual experiences, and to view the world through the lens of faith in Jesus Christ. Through the symbols in her paintings and graphics, which are accessible to everyone, Yulia conveys spiritual concepts, emotions, and the joy and eternity of existence.


Yulia's paintings often resemble stained glass, where each facet represents the spiritual connection between the world and God, and each plane is like a colored glass for the light. They are somewhat similar to a kaleidoscope, where you turn it in your hands and each time the pieces come together to create a unique and never-repeating image. This wonder of contemplation and endless creation brings genuine joy!
